About Foster & Oz Studios

Foster & Oz Studios creates two kinds of work under one roof:
Fostered Roots—whimsical children’s books and printable learning aids for kids up to age 10—and Simply Start Over (coming soon) —inspirational photography with brief reflections for everyone, especially parents navigating change. We keep the focus on the work, not a face.

Who we are

Tinn Foster (Children’s Author)
He is the storytelling pen behind the Fostered Roots Universe. Through picture books and character spotlights, he crafts tales that encourage courage, kindness, and belonging. His debut release, Two Shoes: Limelight at the Barre, sets the stage for a series of timeless adventures.

Lensmann Oz (Photography & AI Visual arrangements)

He is the photographer for Simply Start Over and the visual architecture of the Fostered Roots Universe.

  • Fostered Roots: Through crafted imagery, cinematic framing, and visual imagination, he ensures the world seen by readers matches the richness of the stories told.

  • Simply Start Over: Creates calm, minimalist images with one-line reflections—small resets for busy lives. Simply Start Over is where to linger when you need to reset.

Pappy (Narrator)

Pappy guides children through the tales of Willowbrook with gentle humor and a steady heart. He carries the voice of memory and family.

Through Pappy, the Fostered Roots stories are framed with care and consistency, giving each book a familiar heartbeat. He is not the hero of the adventures, but the trusted guide who helps little ones feel safe as they journey into new worlds.

Timothy Cameron (Studio Lead - Content Director)

His background is in performing arts (story, timing, heart) and instructional design (clarity, outcomes). He stays behind the scenes so the stories and images can speak first.

Creative Process Disclaimer

Fostered Roots is an independent creative studio that blends traditional storytelling with modern creative tools.

All characters, stories, and story worlds in the Fostered Roots children’s books are created and developed by a human author. Digital tools, including artificial intelligence, is used to assist with illustration generation, visual development, and production tasks, but the storytelling, characters, and creative direction originate from human imagination.

For the Simply Start Over series, all photographs are captured by a human photographer. Images may be enhanced using standard photo editing tools, but the original photography is entirely human-created.

Our goal is to combine human creativity with helpful tools while preserving the heart, intention, and storytelling created by people.
